Alco C424 PC (Ex PRR) #2415

The ALCO Century 424 was a four-axle, 2400 horsepower (1.8MW) diesel locomotive of the road switcher type. 190 were built between April 1963 and May 1967. This one was built for the PRR. The PRR had only 1 unit of this type. Later the PRR and NYC merged to form the Penn Central. This unit wears the complete PC dress.
