Schweb W_Schauspielhaus Wuppertal

Das 1966 eröffnete Schauspielhaus in Wuppertal-Elberfeld. Seit seiner Entstehung war es stets das Zentrum des Theatergeschehens der Stadt und wurde durch das Wirken Pina Bauschs als Spielstätte des Tanztheaters weltbekannt. Ursprünglich sollte es ab 2009 umfassend saniert werden, wurde aber stattdessen kaltherzig geschlossen.
Eine Wiedereröffnung ist geplant, aber größtenteils noch ein Luftschloss in den Köpfen der Kulturplaner.
