UZD Lokomotiv TU3-029 TS12

In parallel with the construction of the diesel locomotives TU2, Czechoslovakia at the plant ckd Sokolovo in Prague was commissioned by the narrow gauge locomotives with a power of 340 HP with electric transmission DC. At home, the locomotives were designated the T47 (later Tu47) and was built in 1954. The first locomotive arrived in Soviet Union in 1957 and received the designation TL3-001. The locomotive has a body carload type, divided internally by partitions into four parts – two driver's cab, engine and Luggage compartment. The locomotive relies on a two-axle truck, each axle located traction motors ТМ35/15. As the power plant in the locomotive is applied 12-cylinder diesel 12V170DR and traction generator SS53/28-4. Cooling water and lubricating oil is in the refrigerator, the optimum operating temperatures are supported by the use of a thermostat which switches on the clutch fan. The controls are located in the locomotive cab to operate the locomotive can be both the right and left side, which the driver controller has a removable handle and the brake valve is additionally duplicated on the left side of the cab. Only in the Soviet Union during the period 1957-1959 year was delivered 45 locomotives TL3 (001-045). The locomotives came primarily on the road of MPs in the Baltic States and Ukraine, part of the cars came into the industry. In industry, the locomotives have not taken root because of the heavy weight and the lack of centralized supply of spare parts. Some locomotives TL3 came after the closure of roads, MPs on the children's railway. However, due to problems with spare parts of the locomotives not long worked on children's roads. Currently left a few pieces of locomotives series TL3, mostly in working condition. One locomotive TL3 is still in working condition and operated at the Lviv children's railway. In Czechoslovakia the Tu47 locomotives are still working to this day'
