This sound is a 3 chime whistle as used by many steam locomotives on the 2ft gauge section of the South African Railways. This specific sound is of the 3 chime whistle that was fitted to NGG16A Class numbered 141, and as such is best used on the NG15s and NGG16s/NGG16As.

An 'alternate' whistle sound is available using the 'Bell' function. This whistle is a 2 part looped whistle, allowing Trainz to fade the whistle out instead. The 'alternate' whistle sound runs for about ten seconds.
