NJT P70 Observation

Pennsylvania Railroad Queen Mary Observation Car. The Queen Mary is typical of observation cars on the PRR and of the type run on the Broadway Limited. She's a Parlor/Observation car, with 36 chairs, a drawing room, and a smoking room. While quite common on model railroads, in the real world observation cars were fairly rare, usually only used on a railroad's 'name' or 'varnish' trains, and then only on a select few. Many were used almost exclusively as business or private cars.
