GNR Q Class Preserved Black Tender
No.131 was withrawn in 1963 from CIE but was shown at exhibitions in Inchicore in its GNR Sky Blue Livery. In the 1970's No.131 was moved to Dundalk(GNR(I) Headquarters) and put on a plinth for static display in a Black Livery with white wheels. Then in 1984 131 was moved to Mallow to become the main engine of The Great Southern Railway Preservation Society but this failed to keep going. 131 now striped of its boiler was moved to Inchicore in the 1990's until The Railway Preservation Society of Ireland moved 131 to Whitehead in 2003 where it awaits to be restored. A re-skin of Claude Hamilton's tender, Original model by pacificseven.
