DWWR Green XVIII No.53 Duke of Abercorn

The Dublin, Wicklow and Wexford Railway Engine Type XVIII was built by the Sharp, Stewart & Co in Glasgow in 1893. The XVIII engines were specifcally designed to pull Mail Trains from Kingstown(Now Dun Laoghaire) to the Great Southern and Western Railway Station Kingsbridge(Now Dublin Hueston) so that mail could be delivered across the GS&WR Network. Its livery didnt change until 1907. A re-skin of Kirk Ronan's LMS Ex- LNWR Precursor Tank 4-4-2T
