GSR C5 No.274

In 1925 all of the railways of the Republic of Ireland(except the Great Northern Railway) became one network called the Great Southern Railways. Formely a Waterford, Limerick and Western Railway Engine No.21 was renumbered No.274 when absorbed by the Great Southern and Western Railway in 1899. While on the GSR 274 worked on the south Cork railways and pulled the last passenger train on the Cork-Macroom Line in 1935. Built by Kitson & Co in Leeds in 1897. A re-skin of Kirk Ronan's LMS Ex- LNWR Precursor Tank 4-4-2T
