GSR D17 Rebuilt

Based on the sucess of the GSWR Class 2, the GSWR in 1883-1890 built a larger class, Class 52(GSR D17). Some of which were built from the older Class 56 of 1868. Class 52 were built for mainline passenger services but when the Class 60 was built, they were moved to branch lines. No.59 starred in the film The Quiet Man, starring John Wayne. No. 3, 4, 9, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 52, 54-58 were rebuilt.
