SE Ireland P1 1981

It's 1981 in the South East of Ireland!! Some railways were deemed unprofitable and were closed down and lifted, Mainline Stations have closed down due to lack of passengers and Goods Services have been reduced as local companies struggle to compete with European Companies as Ireland has joined the EEC. On the up side however CIE has purchased new Diesels from America and traffic in Cement from Limerick and Drogheda and Container traffic with North Wall, Dublin has increased. Joining the EEC has had its benefits with new Container Depots, Foreign Companies building Depots, a new Powerstation near Campile and Constructing new roads and bridges.
