SE Ireland P1 2008
Its 2008 in the South East of Ireland!! Iarnròd Èireann have recently decided to upgrade nearly the intire rail network by relaying track with concrete sleepers, replacing level crossings with automatic barriers, mordernising the signalling and point system with CTC making signal boxes redundent and sadly replacing semaphore signals to modern light signals. Also a new shipment of Multiple Units has arrived from Spain, South Korea and Japan, putting the push and pull Locos into Freight Services and old rolling stock being put in storage for scrap. Despite Progress, the Rosslare to Waterford Railway is due to close despite protests by commuters and students.
