Xenon Gas
Xenon is a colorless, odorless, tasteless inert noble gas with the appearance of a blue color color in a discharge tube. Xenon is a rare and relatively expensive to extract from the Earth's atmosphere but, it has a number of applications. Xenon has over eighty compounds such as: Xenon dichloride, Xenon difluoride, Xenon hexafluoride, Xenon tetrafluoride, Xenon monochloride, and etc. Xenon exist's in nature as a gas and is found in the earth's atmosphere at 0.0000087% as the most rarest. Xenon has nine isotopes: Xenon 124 [Stable]{0.0952%}, Xenon 126 [Stable]{0.089%}, Xenon 128 [Stable]{1.9102%}, Xenon 129 [Stable]{26.4006%}, Xenon 130 [Stable]{4.071%}, Xenon131 [Stable]{21.2324%}, Xenon 132 [Stable]{26.9086%}, Xenon 134 [Stable]{10.4357%}, and Xenon 134 [Half Life: 2.11X10^21 Years]{8.8573%}. Xenon is used in light-emitting devices called xenon flash lamps, lasers, medical anesthetic, medical robust cardioprotection and neuroprotection, doping, imaging, NMR spectroscopy, bubble chambers, calorimeters, and etc.
DOT Classification: UN ID 2036; Non-Flammable Gas.
