Coal 2 Bay Hopper Buffalo Creek & Gauley #MFX

REVISED: Modified to accommodate CMTMSystem3 car destination system. 55 ton USRA/ARA 2bay hopper. 25,000 built in 1918 alone used mostly by eastern and midwestern coal carriers. Model by Dale Pattee. Most of these hoppers were built by American Car & Foundary, but there are many variants. The Buffalo Creek and Gauley Railroad began on April 1, 1904 and operated along Buffalo Creek in Clay County, West Virginia ending service in 1965. It was one of the last all-steam operations, never using diesels to its closing day in 1965. Automatic Assigned Running Numbers with animated brake hoses, and MFX multi-effect with sounds.
