Lehigh Northern - CPKC Subdivision

Welcome to the Lehigh Northern CPKC Subdivision model railroad layout. It is a fictional model railroad of a fictional CPKC subdivision.

It has both freight and passenger operations. CPKC handles freight, while passenger ops are handled by a fictional tourist operation hosted by the local Lehigh Northern Railroad Historical chapter, who has running rights over the subdivision.

Freight operations include:
- Grain and corn meal to the cereal mill (Three Grains Cereals)
- Baked goods produced by the cereal mill
- Aggregate / cement trains (Adams Cement)
- Mixed freight - Lumber / Sodium Chlorate (Lumber yard and Pruyn Paper Mill)
- Paper products (Pruyn Paper Mill)
- Coal trains from the local coal mine

The tourist operation boasts both steam and diesel power (A rebuilt 2-8-0 steamer and a pair of Delaware & Hudson PA-1s) along with both heavyweight and streamlined passenger equipment. This is all hosted in their own maintenance facilities, plus they have access to the CPKC heavy repair shops for any major repairs.

The passenger runs can visit any of four varied size stations, but all originate and terminate at the downtown Lehigh station.

The layout is based on a merging of these two trackplans with custom modifications to merge them.

There is a default session available which contains suggested locomotives and rolling stock that will work with the interactive industries included on the route.
