B&O dome

In 1946 3 sleeper domes cars were ordered from Budd and delivered in 1948 for the 'Chessie', which was canceled after one demo run. They were a lower profile than other domes due to eastern clearance, had curved glass, and the only domes with forward canted streamlined windows. In 1949 sold to B&O and new names used.
This is B&O number 7600, 'Moonlight Dome', a 5 roomette, 3 drawing room, 1 bedroom car.In 1952, B&O added four floodlights and in 1965 car was leased to ACL.
