B&M 1500 - Original Scheme

The ALCO RS-2 was made from 1946-1950, 403 made in 3 versions A, B, and C. The A and B had 1500hp engines and the C had 1600hp, a lot got updated to 1600. It came with or without passenger heating and in high speed or low. B&M 1500 was originally one of the Alco demostrator units. It was delivered to the B&M without MU capability and no boiler.
