A single rail track and road Bascule Lift span bridge. It is a model of the German bridge that links the island of Ruegen on Strelasund to Vorpommern mainland in Stralsund. The bridge is 133 meters long and consists of three parts: two fixed bridges, each 52 meters and the central bascule span of 29 meters.
