Rail Bridge CS1

A cable stayed single track rail bridge. The original bridge for this model is the pedestrian and bycycle Jack Pesch bridge over the Brisbane river at Indooroopilly. It has a main span on 167 metres, a 4 metres walkway and river clearance of 13 metres. The bridge and piers are steel with a concrete and steel truss deck.

While the bridge sizes are not really designed for the loads from rail traffic, it does form a believable model
