Small Canal Lock 2

A small canal lock designed to raise small boats from one water level to another. It operates as a transfer table, with operating gates, and rising water level, it lifts boats 3 metres. This model is the gates and end columns only, suitable wall splines need to be placed to make the lock sides.

The rising water is a textured plane, replace this texture with your own if you want to match a particular water colour in Trainz. The lock snaps to the grid when placed, so the gates align with a grid line. Place water to finish at the gates and adjust the upstream and downstream levels to suit the up or down positions of the water level in the dock. You should use the get spline height tool to find the height of the attachment points and set the attached track to those levels.

Installs as Small Canal Lock 2 in the Britain menu.
