Transfer Table Ferry Barge

A rollingstock transfer modelled as a barge ferry. The table is a fixed object, 800 metrs long to transfer the ferry from one side of a river to the other, carrying rollingstock. It has dual tracks. It has an animated tugboat attached to the barge, to move the barge.

The table may be rotated after placing but the geometry is fixed. The model should be used in TRS2006 only, as the moving ferry can vanish in TRS2004. Because of the length of travel, it is easier to use the Move Turntable rule available for use in TRS2006 only, instead of the red arrows, which are remote from the far terminal.

Rolling stock may be loaded from both ends of the barge. Placing more than one ferry model will have a detrimental effect on frame rate. See my webpage for additional information. http://www.ianztrainz.com.au/project7.htm

Once installed you will find the model as Transfer Table Ferry Barge in the USA Scenery Trackside menu.
