Transfer Table Ferry Barge 2

A rollingstock transfer modelled as a ferry. The table is a fixed object, 800 meters long to transfer the ferry from one side of a river to the other, carrying rollingstock. It has three tracks on the deck and two additional ship tracks.

The table may be rotated after placing, but the geometry is fixed. The model should be used in TRS2006 only, as the moving ferry can vanish in TRS2004. Because of the length of travel, it is easier to use the Move Turntable rule available for use in TRS2006 only, instead of the red arrows, which are remote from the far terminal.

Rolling stock may be loaded from both ends of the ferry. Placing more than one ferry model will have a detrimental effect on frame rate.

Additional tracks are placed on either side of the table so a tugboat may be driven next to the table and transported acroos the river, as if it were driving the table. Join additional track so the tugboat may be turned around for the return or forward journey. A suitable tugboat is the Yelta, kuid2:60238:9050:1
