BDZ Vagon 47 5052 2047 111-8

PKP Bwxz YB70 bautzen passenger coach. VEB Waggonbau Gorlitz created a small group of these for PKP in the early 70s but eventually no more were ordered since PKP already used a large group of similiar 111A and 112A coaches of native origin. In the early 1980s around 100 cars of this type were again ordered in VEB to replace the most aged and used 111A class coaches. They are in regular service on most lines till today. An important improvement done by PKP to the YB70 class was the addition of 4ANc bogeys that raised the max speed of these coaches to 160kmh instead of 140 that original Gorlitz V bogeys allowed.
