Midland Mainline was born in 1996
when British Rails was privatised.
Midland Mainline became the company
running on the LMS corridor
from London Saint Pancras
and Leeds, through : Luton,
Leicester, Derby, Sheffield,
Meadowhall, Wakefield and Barnsley.
MM has 13 HST and 17 Turbostars.
HSTs run mainly from London
to Sheffield.
Sheffield to London takes approximatively
2 hours 20minutes.
