Canadian Prairies

This route depicts 36km (22mi) of East-West main line, with a few hamlets, a couple of grain elevators and a 17km (11mi) branch line. It is situated on the Canadian Prairies of Manitoba.

This route is based on (a part of) the CN Rivers sub and CN Carberry sub. To be more specific: the section South-East of Rivers to Gregg and Petrel to Sandy Dunes.
To not go completely bored on the long stretch, this map uses 1.2km (or 0.75mi) instead of the roughly 1.6km (1mi) by 1.6km standard (Canadian) farmlands and (on top of that) have some distances reduced / farmlands removed.

Note 1: The closest I have ever been to this area is Chicago, which isn't even in the same country. This route is completely based on Google Earth, so if it doesn't look like it... Well, I tried.
Note 2: Consider this a WIP, though don't expect any progress. I had initially no intention to release it in this state; the planned track was in each direction till at least the next serious town. Real life is making progress so slow I doubt I ever get it finished, so I decided to release the section I have completely painted for now. I hope you will at least get some joy out of it and that this release will indirectly spark some motivation to continue my journey across the Canadian Prairies.
