70 Ton Climax - Generic

The Climax was introduced at the end of the 19th century, and worked exceedingly well as a heavy industrial engine. The 70 ton variant shown here was about as big as you got, and had the simply maintained Walschaerts gear as opposed to the more simple-looking but harder to maintain Stephenson's gear.
