C&C Side-Dump Ore Car

Twenty of these cars were bought for use around the Eureka Mill, assembled at Carson and used for some time. By the early 1880s, however, they were obsolete, so 15 were re-gauged for use on the fledgling Carson & Colorado Railroad. They served there until 1899, when they were shipped to Pacific Coast Borax in Alameda, CA. Their fate is unknown, presumed scrapped.
