S&M #4 is a Baldwin logging mallet, purchased fourth-hand from the Consolidated Timber Co. She was always numbered 4, even when sold to the Southwest Lumber Mills in the mid-50's. Originally Hammond #4, she was built as a side tank engine but had been converted to a tender engine sometime before or during her stay at the S&M.
Requires dependencies from Ben Neal's Uintah and 30 inch 2-6-6-2s.
