SPNG Boxcar ex-F&CC - Logo

Peninsular/AC&F 30ft boxcar built 1898-99 for the Florence & Cripple Creek of Colorado. 49 of these cars passed to NCO in 1915, and NCO in turn sold out to the Southern Pacific in 1929. Of those cars not sold, 15 were deemed in good condition and moved to the Keeler Branch.
This model is based on and uses the standard features of Pencil42's 30 foot flatcars.
31ft 4in over end sills, 29ft 5.5in inside. 22700 lbs unloaded; 25 ton capacity, 1274 cubic feet per builder's measurements.
