Kauai 2008 dawn
This session demonstrates most of the rail, air and sea tracks available on the map. There is one small circuit for a helicopter (at Lihue airport) that is not used in this session.
I have used Wulf9's static safety block rule to prevent congestion at the Port Allen dock area.
Commuter trains take passengers to various towns and sites around Kauai. Fuels from Port Allen are delivered to the US Navy base at Barking Sands and to the depot at Kilauea. Bulk 'sugar cane' (woodchips) from the Kekaha cane loader is taken to the mill/biomass power plant at Puhi. Containers and general goods are distributed from Port Allen to Barking Sands and Hanalei. Logs cut at the Kealia camp are taken to the mill down by the coast, converted to lumber and exported from Kauai via the docks at Port Allen.
To view the less accessible parts of Kauai, try the scenic flights, the cruise ship round the island, or the cable car at the Mt. Waialeale crater.
