Ballast 01 spline 01

A thin line of ballast as laid beside the track by an MoW ballast hopper. The ballast is light grey aggregate, about 2.5 inches (6 cm) in size. It will become snow-covered if above the environmental snowline altitude.
Lay the spline with the steep side of the pile against the outside face of a rail. Each side of the track requires a separate instance of the spline, so it can be used with track of any gauge.
LOD transitions on the 4m-long repeat unit: 96 triangles to 50m, 12 tris to 400m, 4 tris to 1000m, culled at 1000m. 1 texture material per mesh. Made in 3DS Max 2009 for Railhead001.
