Branch Freight Active

It's late spring and the first Hawes cattle market of the year was held yesterday. The morning's task is to take two return trips from Hawes to Garsdale. The outward trips are with empty cattle trucks and the returns are with coal trucks. Summer may be just around the corner but it is still cold enough for the coal merchants to need stock for their customers. Keep an eye out for the passenger train which is also working the branch.
