IndustRail 7b Steam 1

This session is for Urban IndustRail 7b. It uses default Trainz rolling stock, apart from the ATSF ore hoppers, the mill gondolas and the Victorian Railways S class steam locomotive. All these items of rolling stock are on the Download Station and will be installed automatically when the session is downloaded. The session should take about three or so hours to complete.
The main purpose of the session is to provide instruction to engineers for driving a steam locomotive in Cab Mode. Driving a steam locomotive in Cab Mode is a challenge and you will be spending much more time reacting to gauges and adjusting the controls than looking at the scenery.
A detailed readme file describing the correct driving technique is included in the folder containing the session. You will also find the readme in a post of mine in the Auran Trainz Forums.
You inspect your locomotive while your fireman attends the fire. The Dispatchers orders are the same as yesterday:
Attach and load ore hoppers with iron ore.
Proceed south.
Stop at Dunedin and Hayfore yards to check train and for train orders.
Unload and leave hoppers at iron ore dump at Steel Works.
Proceed light engine to Invercargill.
Turn locomotive and take break.
Attach empty gondolas in Invercargill yard.
Proceed to Steel Works and load gondolas with scrap.
Proceed north to Picton, unload scrap at Steptoe and leave gondolas in west yard.
Return to loco and sign off.
Class 1 railroad trains will be running south at 5 minute intervals.
You are authorised to travel at up to 50mph except in yard areas where normal limits apply.
You are authorised to stop when necessary for locomotive purposes.
Ends.
