YSC 1a MoW

This session is for YardSwitchingCo 1a. You will be setting up Maintenance of Way trains for the work schedule tomorrow. All the items of rolling stock needed by the session will be downloaded from the Download Station when the session is installed.

Chuck and Joe, Saturday evening again. You need to set up the MoW cars for the work tomorrow.

Refuel the steam shovel and the match car with coal at the loco depot before taking them and the gondola over to Matchless Timber. The shovel will be used to remove mud and sludge from the log dump.

The 250t crane is needed for replacing track out on the main line. Pick up the four flat cars from the station spur and load them with rails and sleepers at the MoW Depot. The flat cars will load when stationary between the yellow markers.

Make up the train so that the work car caboose is at western end, and place the whole consist of flat cars, crane and work cars in the Class 1 Transfer Yard, the yard that has track with concrete sleepers.

Take care with that old switch stand in the MoW Depot. Sometime we will get round to replacing it.

You will find that our Class 1 Railroad partner is running a very intensive schedule. You should expect to see their trainz thundering past every two minutes or so. Be very careful where we share their tracks on either side of the main station and when you access their Transfer Yard.
