YSC 1a Switching

This session is for YardSwitchingCo 1a. You will be moving freight cars for loading and unloading. All the items of rolling stock needed by the session will be downloaded from the Download Station when the session is installed.

Chuck and Joe, we need you to move freight cars around the yard. You can do this in any sequence you like, but keep the Dispatcher informed of your movements.

In the Transfer Yard you will find empty airslide hoppers and empty flats. The airslides go to Anderson Milling for loading with bulk flour and the flats to Private Parts for loading with crates of auto components. The gondolas loaded with coil steel in the Transfer Yard go to Hymill-Write for unloading and the limestone hoppers unload at Portland Cement.

Pick up and load the empty flat cars standing at Matchless Timber and load the VR bulk cement cars at Portland.

Freight cars will load or unload when stationary between the yellow markers.

You will find that our Class 1 Railroad partner is running a very intensive schedule. You should expect to see their trainz thundering past every two minutes or so. Be very careful where we share their tracks on either side of the main station.
