PO&N 1a SteelMaking

This session is for PortOgden&Northern 1a. All the items of rolling stock needed by the session will be downloaded from the Download Station when the session is installed. However, use TrainzObjectz or CMP to make sure all the dependencies have been captured.

The Steel Works at VanDenH consumes iron ore from Newnes, chromium and vanadium from Xacto, limestone from Chippewa, coal from the Port Ogden Kohlmine, and scrap from Port Ogden South. You can choose to convey any or all of these to the Steel Works by selecting the appropriate GP-60 locomotive using the Find Object screen in Driver.

With the Xacto ores, load the ore at the mine, then unload and reload at the Cementation Plant.

Finished steel products from the Works are transported to Hymill-Write Multi-Manufacturing at Ogden.

You may choose your own time of day and weather conditions.
You are authorised to travel at up to 50mph except in yard areas where normal limits apply.
You must give right of way to all AI trainz at all squeeze points.
