HSL Moerdijkbrug. The insertion / pivot point is the second pier from the northern end. The design elevation for the pivot point is -10 m. Total length including approaches = 1970 m. Bridge span = 1190 m. Northern approach grade = 1.9 %. Southern approach grade = 0.9 %. The high point of the span is 723.2 m from the pivot point, 32.7 m above the pier footing. With water at -3 m, there is a 20 m clearance at this point. Track spacing is 5.5 m center to center. Track location guides are at each approach and at the start of the span. Recommend using HSL track 70337:38009.
