A passenger enabled station inspired by the new Barendrecht station on the HSL Zuid line south of Rotterdam.
It has a 1500m covered section over the 9 tracks to protect the neighbourhood from noise and visual pollution.
The station has 4 tracks, 1 center platform and 2 outside platforms.
There are 3 other tracks for freight and 2 more tracks for the new high speed rail line that all bypass the station.
The 300m platforms are enclosed in a glass sided building.
