Signal Guide (BR)

This layout is intended as a guide to the Auran built-in signals. It is a simple yet fairly prototypical track plan that includes what I consider typical signaling situations Trainzers encounter when building a layout or a route. There is no scenery. There are no 3rd party signals used (although most if not all third party signals correspond in some way to Auran signals). The map includes double track with a crossover, double-to-single track, wye on single track, a small yard, a diamond crossing with adjacent 'interchange', a passing loop (a.k.a. a passing siding), and a return loop. I have not referenced it in the layout, but you can enable the diamond crossing signals by downloading the 'diamond_crossover' rule by adamsloco from the Auran Download Station (KUID2_44272_90001_3). Create a new session and add the rule to it. Click 'edit' and then click 'new group.' Click each of the cardinal signals and then type in the following names - for the east signal, type in 'Diamond East.' For the south signal, 'Diamond South.' The west signal is 'Diamond West' and the north signal is 'Diamond North'. Cheers and enjoy!
