Chattahoochee Valley 2-8-0 #21

A medium Baldwin standard gauge 2-8-0, based on Chattahoochee Valley #21, currently under restoration at the Southeastern Railway Museum in Duluth, GA. Locomotives of this type were used by shortlines and a few class one railroads all over the USA. It can be relettered by following instructions in the readme and the website you downloaded it from.

Originally purchased by the Atlanta Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society, Alfred S. Rolfe bought the Chattahoochee Valley's sole 2-8-0, numbered 21, for his Petersburg Shortline railroad in 1989, two years after the purchase and restoration of number 578, a former New York Central / Boston & Albany 4-6-2. At purchase, the Chapter suggested replacing the locomotives small tender with a fairly newer and larger one. In 1990, after only 17 excursions, it was replaced with an former Great Western 2-10-0's tender, and it is used to this day, except on special services where the loco is repainted in the classic C.V. paint scheme.
