The cottage, the home of Limhamns Museum Society, was built in the early 1800's, one of the oldest Neolithic sites, and was inhabited by soldiers, from the 1859th From 1890 to 1912 it was inhabited by the last allotted soldier at the root of No. 24 of Skytt company.
