Arkansas and Missouri Railway
The Arkansas and Missouri Railway is a Trainz version of the Arkansas and Missouri Railway, a Class 3 road that runs from Ft Smith Arkansas to Monett Missouri on the former St Louis and San Francisco Railway (Frisco). Total main line trackage: 140 miles. The route interchanges with the Kansas City Southern in Ft. Smith AR, the Union Pacific in Van Buren AR, and the BNSF in Monette MO. A branch runs from Rogers AR to Bentonville AR, services the Walmart Co. In 1981, the Burlington Northern purchased the A&M from the Frisco, ran it for 20 years, and sold it to the newly created Arkansas and Missouri Railway in 2001, with headquarters in Springdale AR.
