Bergen Coal Tramway

The Bergen Coal Tramway is the remenant of one of the larger lines narrow gauge routes in the East of England. Trunticated to the coal mine at Summit, and serving Summit, Dobson Vale and Bergen, there is just enough traffic to justify continued existance. The original mainline is still in place, but left unused at present. As such, the two other Bagnalls remain unused.

There are two ways to run this railroad: Use Gelert to take the passenger train at Summit to Bergen, with an intermediate stop at Dobson Vale, and then return, or load the coal cars at the mine and bring them down to the LNER interchange.
