LBSCR Terrier Fenchurch, 1960s Bluebell Appearance

The 'Terriers' were apparently so named because they were small and agile. Designed by William Stroudley for the LBSC Railway, 50 Locomotives were built between 1872 and 1880. A few were sold off for use on light railways, rebuilding of the truncated LBSCR fleet to A1X specification (new boilers and an extended smokebox) took place in 1911. A few were sold off for use on light railways and 10 are preserved. This model is a representative of Fenchurch in it's initial Bluebell scheme Thanks to Paul Hobbs for the approval for this reskin.
