FA VQLX Wagon SG

In 1987, 1988 and 1991, one hundred and fifteeen wagons of SFX heritage or similar underframe design were 'chopped' and converted to container wagons. End bolsters, side stanchions and deck were removed and replaced with anchor fittings.

Conversions came from: VFLX / VFLY / VFLF, VQEX / VQEY / VQEF, VFTX / VFTY / VFTF and VFMX.

The VQLX do not always follow the old class number, particulary the VFLX numbers. The number group is 1 - 145.
