VR Single Track 2x30ft Steel Girder Concrete Deck Bridge with Straight Wing Walls

This is a fixed bridge of 2 x 30ft spans/openings of Steel Girder, Concrete Deck construction with an abutment provided with Straight Wing Walls, as designed by the VR Ways and Works Department for use from 1945 onwards. The bridge is constructed from the components of the VR 30ft Steel Girder Concrete Deck Bridge Kit but is intended to stand alone where a 60 ft (20 meters) span only is required at a maximum 20 ft (7 meters) height above ground level.
