Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Rail Road
The Denver & Rio Grande ran from Alimosa to Durango . In 1971 the D&RGW still runs the Silverton Branch . In 1982 the D&RGW sold the line to Charlie Branshaw and turned in to the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge . In 1982 to present & K-28 # 473 wich was built by Alco by The American Locomotive Workes in 1923 or 1928 & K-36 # 486 wich was built by baldwin in 1925 & K-37 # 497 was build by baldwin in 1928 .
