Midland Railway 15ft D299 5 plank-03 early detailed JAG

A Midland Railway D299 5 plank open wagon in lightly weathered condition with bottom doors and double sided brakes with no connecting crosshaft. The D299 5 plank was the Midland Railways most common wagon type and they could be found almost anywhere in Britain during the pre-grouping era.
This wagon model uses Edward Heap's wooden underframe and detailed bogey as well as John Whelan's 15ft 5 plank open wagon mesh.
