C420 - IAIS 850

This Alco C420 served on the Iowa Interstate from December 1993 until August 10, 1999 when it was sold to the Louisville, New Albany & Corydon.
One of only two Alcos owned by the Iowa Interstate, #850 never recieved proper paint. The GB&W markings were removed and the red stripe was applied but the unit never appeared in black paint.
#850 began life as #27 of the LHR. Before arriving at the IAIS, it served time as Conrail 2075 and Green Bay & Western 323.
