Eastleigh Town-Model Trainz

Eastleigh Town is a Yorkshire village on a fictional branchline that runs from a junction with the mainline, 8 miles south of York, to Bessingdon Heath, 15 miles to the west. This route represents the branch as it runs through Eastleigh Town, featuring a station, parcels siding, coal yard, goods shed, dairy siding, a couple of abandoned wagons, and the lovely town, whose centerpiece is a preserved BR Mk1 coach, on display at the park. The other half of the layout is a 3-track fiddle/staging yard.
The branchline is single-track, and is set in 1976-1982, in the BR Blue era, post-TOPS. Freight sevice would be provided by a Class 37 or 31, or maybe occasionally a Class 47. Passenger service is provided by DMUs, usually
a Class 105.
Although it is small, this route is packed with operational ability, and hours of Model Trainz fun!
