As a teenager who aspired to be a hot rodder, I fancied owning a shoebox Ford. My dad had a 51 when I was 5 years old. I thought it was the coolest car ever. Dual exhaust, flatty, and it was painted purple! Never was able to get my hands on one. Became a Chevy guy pretty much. But they were very cool, with a flathead, hot camshaft, and dual carbs. Still are!
